Peleg MapLoader — Secure Map Delivery for FiveM

A simple companion to peleg-mapeditor that lets creators ship encrypted maps to buyers. Maps only run when the correct encryption key is provided.

How It Works

• You build your map with peleg-mapeditor and export it into maps.json.
• You set your Active Map Name and an Encryption Key in your editor/config while creating.
• Peleg MapLoader verifies the map against the encryption key at runtime and loads it only if they match.

For Map Creators

1. Purchase and use peleg-mapeditor to create your map.
2. In the editor/config, set:
   • Active Map = your_map_name
   • Encryption Key = your_secret_key
3. Export the map (this produces maps.json).
4. When you sell the map, send the buyer:
   • This peleg-maploader resource
   • Your maps.json containing the map data
   • Your encryption key value (to place in their config)

Note: If the encryption key does not match the map’s signature, the loader will refuse to run the map.

For Buyers / Server Owners

1. Drag & drop the peleg-maploader resource into your server.
2. Place the provided maps.json inside the resource (follow the included readme layout).
3. Open the resource config and paste the encryption key exactly as provided by the creator.
4. Add ensure peleg-maploader to your server.cfg and start the server.

Result: The map loads only with the correct key. If the key is missing or wrong, the map will not run.
